Opus Investment Management Ltd is proud to have been awarded the prestigious ‘Corporate Chartered Financial Planners’ designation by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
Achieving Chartered Financial Planner status places us at the pinnacle of the profession. As at February 2014, only 4,000 individuals (Source: PFS, Feb 2014) in the United Kingdom have achieved the Chartered title (from a total pool of approximately 50,000 registered Financial Planners), and only around 500 firms.
The Chartered title is awarded under the CII’s Royal Charter and strictly controlled by the Privy Council. Holders of the title must pass a series of advanced financial planning exams at degree level, in addition to the mandatory examinations held by most other financial planners.
Chartered Financial Planners must also have significant post qualification experience, subscribe to a strict code of ethics as prescribed by the CII, and have a comprehensive Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme in place.
The Chartered title distinguishes Opus Investment Management and reassures existing and potential clients that we will always act in their best interests in providing the highest levels of professional financial planning.
Each and every client of the Opus Group has access to a Chartered Financial Planner. Why would you want to deal with a financial planner who wasn’t qualified to the highest level?
